A bachelor of music with an area of emphasis in jazz studies provides the foundation to master your primary instrument and bring out the music inside of you. What You’ll Study

Perform music and study jazz theory, aural skills, music history, improvisation and jazz literature. Work with digital technology to create and produce music. Participate in jazz or other ensembles, and collaborate with other students and visiting artists. Demonstrate fundamental piano skills and perform juried exams.
